Now that I think about it, there may also be some elements of how she's uneasy about how the story of the novel is changing and the fact that it seems there's something wrong with how her soul is attached to her body...but mostly I think it's "bEAtrIcE iS yR TRu LUrV anD YOu'LL bE BeTTEr oFF wItHouT mEeeEe" or something along those lines, but less whiny because Raeliana is refreshingly practical compared to most of her female lead counterparts (￣∇￣")
Just caught up after binge reading but can someone explain why they are still going to break off the engagement?

Contract lasts 6 months
MC believes he should be w/ Beatrice
Bill is being passed
I don't get why they don't just get married despite the contract? Is it just because the MC thinks Beatrice should be with him?
