You don’t need to accept rape in any kind of stories... Omegaverse does have a lot of rape but that doesn’t mean we should be fine with it, shit is crappy. You can still have a good story even with or without it this one however just really wasn’t it.

@chxnzlky I like omegaverse and I intend to keep reading it and I don't like rape and I intend to keep complaining about it. I'm not obligated to be OK with it just because it's common, not in real word, not in fiction. It's grossing me out and my opinion is just as valid as anybody else's. If you think I should not read the manga if I don't like it (how am I supposed to know if I like it without reading it?) then why is it OK for you to read comments you don't like (my comment is titled in a way that leaves no doubt it's a negative one). And if my not liking the manga is offensive to people who did, why is your not liking opinion not offensive to people who feel the same way? I'm really tired of people who think it's somehow wrong to share opinion that's different from theirs. I wouldn't have minded if your comment was "I disagree with you, I actually think rape in fiction is hot". I'm not harassing people who have this kind of fetish, I understand they exist and it's their right to enjoy the story but I'm not obligated to be one of them. I'm upset because you're telling me I am doing something wrong by sharing my opinion. If I read something and didn't like it it's my damn right to say it.

This is the exact kind of story I detest from the bottom of my heart. Rape, harassment, rape, and then suddenly all's fine. And I'm particularly triggered by the pattern of rapist first not giving a single thought to how the other party feels and then when the victim becomes confused and emotionally unstable and/or dependant he suddenly declares he won't do ANYTHING until he is explicitly told to and just completely shuts his "love-interest" out burdening him with a responsibility either accept his attacker or not being able to even talk with him. And it's sold as love, BARF! Omegaverse can be a great setting and many of my fav stories are omegaverse but then there are manga like this one that just use the rules of this fictional AU to make all the yaoi sins even more grave. Like, you know, there are good stories showing how alfa in heat practically driven insane with physical lust still finds the strenght to control himself and protect his loved one, and there are bad stories, like this one that just use the concept of heat as an extra excuse to justify rape. DISGUSTING!
