i think of them as easter eggs really. there is definitely a similarity but it's not really an exact copy but hmmm now it got me thinking... it's a fair point
I wouldn’t be worried about it. A lot of shounen have similar plots between each other, for example, the isekai shounen have a lot of story with a male mc that is a a high school student that become an op hero in another world and obtain a harém. Or for example, Naruto and black clover, they have a lot of similarities. And someone once told me that boku no hero academia have a lot of references and similarities with Star Wars. So from my opinion this one have more “originality” than most of stories that I already read or watched.
Anyway, what I want to say is that there is no problem if one story have similarities with another one. It happens a lot. For me, it don’t change the fact that solo leveling is an interesting manga.
I don't really care about this having similarities with other manga's cause it happens a lot, but this JEJU ISLAND ANT EXTERMINATION arc can't help you think about the hunter x hunter. Where there is a queen and her badass prince(?) But let's see what would happen.
also the stone statue god from the beginning looked alot like titans from Attack on Titanヾ(☆▽☆)

its been mentioned in previous comments but the author is definitely a man of culture lol the plot is sprinkled with references from game of thrones (snow elf arc), one punch man (jinwoo's daily exercise regimen) and most recently hunter x hunter to name a few
