I don't know if the author really realizes it or means it, but this is kinda like a racist message by putting a character with dark hair and skin and making them a villain while the white kid is righteous. Even though her character isn't evil, I just think this whole concept is a little icky╥﹏╥ and the spoiler that she's going to lose her dark skin and hair???? lowkey wtf? what kind of message is that sending??? a damn bad one. I'm still gonna continue reading but I'm gonna complain the whole ride (lmao)
