He's only comparing himself though. Fu didn't want to talk about it, and said there was only a slight physical similarity. So just an initial attraction. That's like saying someone has a type that they're attracted to. .. but it's a different personality that keeps him coming back and getting through the relationship. Wei is the one doing all the comparing in his own mind, and is treating Fu very childishly because of am unfounded insecurity.
By all means, if Fu had brought it up and kept song stuff like "my ex would do this and that in situations" or "oh, that reaction reminds me of my ex", then yeah, that would be degrading .. but he didn't want to at all.

you forget Wei has already been through this kind of pain, with a lover cheating and choosing someone else. When Wei asked him if he looked at him because he looked like his ex he said " I didn't want to tell you because I knew it would hurt you" , so the answer is YES. That would def. make you have doubts about if your lover still had feelings for his ex and if you were a replacement.
Even so, it's still baggage and doubts that Wei is bringing into the relationship, not Fu.
yea, Fu just brought a little omission of truth, which is causing the doubts and baggage to rear it's ugly head. But, there wouldn't be any drama at all if one of them didn't mess up a little.
Honestly, your logic sounds like this to me:

" and when you say you love me now, you didn't tell me this knowing when you met me I was cheated and lied to and was crying when you found me?"

Honestly, I don't think it's a big deal , but to totally blame Wei is unfair.

how degrading it feels like to be compared to someone from his past, like you are just a version of that and you are only together because of that, like he loves the idea of someone like his past lovers in a relationship with him, and not with someone like you.
