I think he's like the governor of a state, while she's like a city mayor?? so he should probably have ownership over the monarchy's lands or something similar.
No he married into the family( he's now an efran)
And a family can hold two titles
She wanted to marry, in order to have her title but... She didn't and he obtain the control of her land?!
So if they divorce he will still be the lord since he have a higher title???
