I heard it's more common for them to keep to one role in certain Asian countries. Of course it depends on the couple, but that's what I heard from an Asian guy living in Korea (so this is only the word of one guy idk how accurate it is). If you're just starting out, just keep in mind most of it is going to be inaccurate. If you like romance, stick with shounen ai. They're super fluffy and sweet most of the time. There's some sweet BL as well, but read the comments. And they're will be very few amazing manga with both great story and great romance

So I'm kinda new to BL/Yaoi..
I don't really read that stuff, I'm more on romance, shoujo, shounen, adventure, fantasy, etc.but now I'm kinda exploring the genre..
From the few smutty yaoi stories I've read. They, uhm, (How to explain this???) The positions (?) of the uke and seme.. The uke was the bottom right? The seme is the one on top who always do the boinking.
Is it always like that?
Or are there any manga/manhwa/manhua where they switch positions?
