Little bro's family had a father a mother, but the father divorced the mother because she was mistreating their child by giving him too much work, having unrealistic expectations, and basically abusing him
Little bro's dad married(?) big bro's mom so they became brothers and met on big bro's birthday (Christmas)

Little and big bro are talking together as children, and their conversation makes little bro remember his mother's behaviour in the middle of the conversation (the page with black background) then it goes back to their conversation as children (the pages with white background)
That's probably it (sorry it's been a long time since I read this one)!
But it's was kinda off, like the big bro shouldn't be able to remember something like that since they where supposed to meet some time after those incidents, right?
Yeah, that was actually little bro remembering, then showing he was "healed" by his big bro.
The big bro appeared after little bro was separated from his mom (probably quite some time after since the father had time to divorce little bro's mom and build a new relationship with big bro's mom) and him just taking care of his little brother helped little bro to get out of his mom's influence. The conversation and the fact that he remembers his mom in the middle, then goes back to talking to his big bro is to show that he's moved on.
It goes like this:
- Little bro's mom is abusive and obsessed with his career as an actor
- Little bro's father snaps and divorces her because she mistreats their son
- Little bro's father builds a relationship with big bro's mom
- Little and big bro meet
- They become closer as big bro tries to protect little bro from what may harm him and supports him in an healthy way and little bro actually cares about big bro unlike big bro's neglecting mom
- They promise to live together forever or something along those lines
- And then on with the begining of the story
But on chapter 5 page 27 is the big brother the one that sees the parents fighting because of the little brother working, but they had previously stated that the mother kinda changed her behavior to give a good imagen in front of the big brother's father, which makes that particular scene kinda... Weird

That's a flashback. Every time the background is black it's a flashback. In the middle of his discussion with big bro, little bro remember the situation before the divorce and cries.
Chapter 5 was so weird to me, I couldn't understand how they meet ... Like was i the only one that didn't get what was happening with the flashbacks? Little bother said something about the parents divorcing and on the memory we saw the parents fighting about the kid working a lot but weirdly big bro was also there, didn't they meet cuz' their divorced parents where going to remarry?
