I think the worst of yaoi is how every man are hungrily waiting for an opportunity to rape the MC uke in all mangas (as if raping someone is super normal and who cares about jail). And then if the bad guy becomes more important in the story, uke will forgive him and will become friends with that guy (if they werent already friends)

Or how every characters’ way of thinking is : i like this person so i can never go out with anyone else.

Or how everyone be like: are you going out with someone? No? Then you have no reason to reject me (bitch what???).

Or how you could just spread a rumor about someone(lets say i dont like you so i tell everyone you a whore) and that person could get bullied by the colleagues and then get fired.

All of this to make drama because authors cant think outside of these bad plots :)))))))

I like rape plot because if well written, a traumatic past can really add to the deepness of a character. Well a traumatic past in general, but again if well written. And of course there is the rape fantasy which has nothing to do with a plot and which is only the way for the author to say that the character experimented orgams but is still pure since he was given it forcefully. (Which is the real plot of a rape fantasy).
For example i don’t like bara, but I respect people with that kink. No one gets hurt. But the plot in baras are just non existent in 99% of them.....

Oh yes the famous rumours, well i experimented it first hand, i can understand it happening, but not because of your sexual orientation, i think this is dumb. Nowadays everyone is open minded, but jealousy is a trigger wayyy more stronger than prejudice. Also the homophobic plot in a lot of mangas. It make you believe that Japan is a homophobic country, which is not true. It may have been 20 years ago, but that was 20 years ago.

By replying to you this made me realise that good manga artists must have have 3 talents: drawing, writing and eing able to convey the idea. All of that is perfect if you have a good story.

I think i can forgive to a certain point a bad drawing, but bad scenarios are the worse for me. Especially when everyone steals the same bad scenario, come on, of all the bad ideas already existing, why not innovate lol

Maybe they fear being original and not fiding a public? But that is really taking us for stupid readers. Or maybe the readers only go to those plots, in which case we are stupid lol.

The worst is when a story start off with a confident MC uke..... and then the mask falls and all of a sudden uke is just some pathetic guy explained by a back story and a plot going around uke’s groundless insecurities.
