Seriously People

This is why people avoid learning new languages. They're afraid they'll be made fun of, like you're all doing to this poor translator, who's doing this work for FREE. Can we PLEASE be nice?

That aside, the story's pacing is really weird. Like dude went from creeped out by an out of nowhere confession in first chapter to madly in love in the second - character development has left the chat.

there is a hell of a difference between learning a new language and proposing a translation! Some comments are mean but pointing out the bad English is pretty reasonable here. I can google translate and know a bit of Japanese but if I tried translating, it'd probably be a mess too. If comments pointed it out, that'd be normal.

Criticism exists. They are given so people can improve. You can't survive in this world if you can't take criticism. Other than that, a bad translation can ruin the original work. In this case, it is a dishonor to the original creators.

You're right. When it's paid work there's a very big difference. But this is a free upload of a manga nobody else was touching. Of course you can expect comments and criticism, but people here are being downright hurtful.

Well aren't you hot stuff. You're the exact kind of person I'm talking about being rude and hurtful. "Dishonor to the original creators"? What a joke. You'd rather nobody try and translate this? Cuz that's where we were at. Criticism is valid. But saying the translator dishonored the creator by liking the work enough to try translating it for free? That's just not cool.
And, given I could make sense of the English used, I can tell you that the story is still exceptionally fast paced, and very odd. The mangaka has done better tbh. Stop acting high and mighty and do the scanslation yourself if you're so insulted by it. Smh.
