Adulthood and responsibilities

Wow. How can a teacher, who is like a second parent, take advantage of their own student? How can a mother be so uncaring? Even if both adults could have had their own pasts, what reason can you treat another human, who is in the delicate phase of puberty, in such an uncaring and irresponsible way? If the teacher really loved her, he would have waited. The mother, even if she was career minded, still has the responsibility to support her, not just financially - but also emotionally. She has a right to be loved as a daughter, a right to dignity and security. She may not have been physically abused, but she is abused thru negligence and sexually taken advantage of because of her state of mind.
