Actually I think he simply has a mate, bc in other omegaverses omegas who have a mate are immune to pheromones of everyone but their mate (idk about the heat though)

Omega chan said that he doesn't get heats ( he didn't say that he didn't experienced his FIRST heat or just now doesn't get them)so probably can't react to pheromones. Maybe it's not a bite but sketches or a beta's omega's bite?
Almost every omegavers is different with its rules , BUT from others omega.v. omegas who didn't experience first heats don't feel the pheromones
