it's a lot to unpack, but ultimately there's this giant war that could destroy the planet or the world he's in, and since he becomes super strong, he's enlisted in the war (as a commander) along with his family and friends. Princess Tessa around that time likes him a lot and he abandons his troops and family in a battle he's fighting in so he can go check if Tessa is safe while she's fighting in a completely different battle VERY far away. He gets stopped by some bandits on his way to Tessa and has to turn back to his battle. When he arrives, he finds out that the general under him and took command of the troops while he was away, and basically sent the troops to their deaths to save supplies. One of those soldiers that died was his dad. HE ABANDONED HIS FAMILY, RESPONSIBILITIES AND HIS TROOPS TO GO CHECK ON DUMB ASS TESSA!!!! HE DIDN'T EVEN ORIGINALLY LIKE HER!!! AND HIS DAD DIED FOR THAT DUMB ASS REASON!!!! RRRRRRAAAAHHHHH

Oh damn so the dad dies huh, but why does that ruin the entire story?

It ruins the story because he originally was very passionate about his family about how he wants to protect them and all that shit

Now all of sudden he wants to be with that girl that he didin't even love or like i guess

Yeh that seems really out of character?? Part of his whole purpose is getting strong enough so he doesn't lose his family, yet he goes and gets his father get killed?? Wtf??
