I appreciate your comment, but [don't]. This is just [disrespectful to] a person who wanted to practice their English. Just [don't]... [don't] until you learn to respect people.
Thank you, a person who respects anyone who takes the time to try and learn a second language
PS. Telling someone who isn't familiar with English, "just don't" - isn't going to help them. It's an incomplete sentence. It will very likely be lost in translation. Plus, it's rude. Just don't say mean things.
You may take from my comment whatever you want. I dont appreciate people butchering an authors work and not getting the idea across effectively. If you can do it right, Dont do it! Wait until you can translate properly or ask for a second opinion before you post it. If you this that taking an authors work and turning it into crap is ok, then you are the one who needs to learn respect. Because promoting and reinforcing trash is disrespectful to the author and those who love good work.
Oh look how you defend your meanness by telling me I'm "probably shit". And I'm not promoting this series either. The pace is off and it's the mangaka's fault. She usually does better. I really don't get where you get off acting so high and mighty. I'm telling you to treat others with kindness, and you're:
- dissing me
- accusing me of "negative reinforcement" as if that makes sense? I literally have no idea what you mean by that.
All I'm saying is if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything. Yelling at people to get what you want never works. Like how fat shaming someone who's at the gym won't make them want to keep working harder. I'm saying you're driving people away from bettering themselves by being cruel and hurtful. Yet I'M the one who's "probably shit". Cool.
Genuinely and truly, I hope you learn how to show people kindness. It gets you a lot farther than hurtful words.
This conversation is going no where. Your not getting it. And me accusing you of negative reinforcement does make sense. Telling the translator to "keep up the good work" and attacking people who say the truth while their translation is shit... is literally the definition. If it sucks, I'm gonna say it sucks. People need to stop lying. Yeh, its kool to learn a second language, but dont post incorrect translations on a public platform. I'm gonna continue speaking my mind. Deal with it.
Somehow in your mind, being nice and being petty are the same thing. I honestly feel bad for you. Like, you must have experienced something horrible to cause your morals to be like that. I hope that you're able to find the healing you need, and meet people who will show you kindness. I hope you're able to show them kindness in return.
Oh wait I messed up, that was to my second message. I can admit when I make a mistake. My apologies. I still hope you find people who treat you with kindness, and that you show them kindness in return. If everyone learned to be a little more kind, the world would be a much nicer place to live in. That is the real truth.
For the record, I'm done responding to this with this last message. You're clearly not understanding what I'm saying. You can go on thinking a bad translation is disrespecting the original series. I never said the translation was good, clearly it's rough, and requires a quality checker. That's why I used a comment to offer help (since I can't find their Tumblr) instead of being so hurtful to another person. I'm not saying you have to like the translation, I'm not promoting it. In fact, this series seems like shit - but it's not the translators fault. So really, you're the one promoting the original here by saying it deserves a prim and proper translation. Go translate it yourself, offer some help, whatever it is to make the world a little better. A little kinder. A little brighter. Spreading negativity and hatred is not telling the truth. It's being vile. You're being cruel, calling me names for trying to be kind, and insulting someone who worked hard on something to share with others. The typesetting alone must have taken so long.
Be kind, spread good, encourage others. That's all.
I appreciate your efforts, but dont. This is just disrespecting to author's beautiful art and words. Just dont..... dont until you get an english cleaner.
Thank you, All the fujoshi out here
