One chapter in, and I hate the weird flesh-colored skinflaps near her stomach that she has. Also, what dos a mermaid eat if not fish? Shrimp? Krill? Also, I don't know why it'd be cannibalistic for a mermaid to eat a fish. We eat cows all the time and don't call it cannibalism.
