I'm binge-reading this and I'm only on ch.14 but have to get it off my chest - "My neck is aching and I fear for my life... but... he looks even more hurt than I do" Ugh. Says the stereotypical 'battered wife' who's so stuck in a codependent relationship she can't leave her violent husband. (that term is in quotation marks because it's a somewhat dismissive colloquialism for victims of domestic violence - which sucks - but tbh it IS really cliche)
yeah you have a point. i didnt notice it until you pointed it out. i hate to see that kind of cliche but for me atleast, i love seeing characters suffer.
