yea I think people are a bit upset because it's very much framed as a BL to make the twist convincing. But even tho I like BL, this was a very nice surprise. The story feels quite refreshing and I love these kinds of romances regardless of the genre they take place in.

I agree. I also like that even tho yuu was jealous in chapter 4 she actually decided to do something about it instead of just being weak minded and doubting the MC's feelings towards her. I also really like how yuu shouted "The one you love is me," it was so sweet and it really showed how strong and confident she is
should be rated higher imo, the couple is cute and pure, unproblematic so far compared to the usual shoujo you see. honestly, people getting annoyed/sad about this not being BL are EXACTLY like the guys who get pissed when they see a 'trap' manga where they think it's a straight smut but it turns out to be a feminine boy with a dick.
