So it’s starts off with this one guy who has like the biggest crush on this one girl, and he’s had a crush on her for months. One day when he musters up enough courage to ask her out he’s surprised when she says yes. And of course he’s happy, and that last up until the next day, in which she promptly disappears.
And that was years ago, back when he was a kid, and he’s still hung up about her! During his time in high school he meets the same girl again, but she forgot about him and his confession.
So he tries hard, really, really fucking hard to swoon her.
And he does. He confesses, and once again she reciprocates them.
And then the next day she left him. She disappears and she forgets.
It goes on from there and each chapter is him constantly telling her “ I love you” when he finds her, and waiting for her to not forget. And some time along the way he realizes that when he gets her to actually love him that, that is when she forgets him.
In some chapters she acts like a complete different person, sometimes even is a complete different age. In some chapter she was this widow, who owned her own store. One time she was a little girl, and the last chapter she was a dude. But her name is always the same, always.
Sometime around the arc when she was a dude, he was this cute little nerdy boi obsessed with space/aliens; and they both bonded over that. Then there was this accident where the main dude gets amnesia. But even then when he forgot everyone, he still loved him, he still loved them. And so he confessed to the boy version, but it wasn’t the boy who disappeared. It was the main character this time.and that was so heartbreaking.
It left off on that.
Even though she’s always so different from the last her he still loves her, just complete bottomless love for her. Cause he can only love her.
And it’s just a tragic love story overall, and I can’t fucking find it!
And no it isn’t “forget me not”!!
Anyways I appreciate you if you actually find it for me, and I thank you beforehand.
Also if this helps, the main character has black hair, and the love interest has light hair. I forgot which color though... lol I suppose that won’t help much.
