Fantastic detailed interpretation, so agree with you! It’s hard to explain the physiological part of it but you saw it. Thank you for sharing. I think it was beautiful even though a short story.

The story was really surprising annd i didn't expect ch 3. It wasa long time yaoi took me with such a surprise.
But i can also understand the people thinking it is open ended. I also wish a little closure enven though it is not really needed.
I can understand why people feel like it's incomplete bc we don't really see a closure, but guys, this was absolutely beautiful in my sense. Like, it's pretty much implied.
In the beginning, Yukari makes it clear that he has absolutely no interest in being with another person, due to the fact that he knows he cannot provide the commitment or attention for his partner. Painting is his life.
And then here comes Kurosu. He gives Yukari a life outside of painting, but also merges the two. You can clearly see that when Yukari starts to paint him, because before he didnt have any inspiration to draw or paint people. So far all we've seen were sceneries being produced.
AND LET ME TELL YOU WANT REALLY GOT ME. IT TOTALLY MADE ME SQUEAL. LIKE THIS FUCKING MANGAKA HIT ME HARDER THAN I WOULD HAVE IMAGINED.
When Yukari finally paints Kurosu in that sexy ass posture and dog head. Oof that seen was just...damn.. man. But besides that point, it was a foreshadowing AND we see how Yukari sees him. He's dangerous, but a protector. He's a fighter, but loyal. We see this idea cemented when the same posture is repeated in a later scene with him beating the shit out of those robbers. Yukari was able to SEE him when he first painted Kurosu. Which draws back to his indifference to people or relationships in the beginning. In the end, Yukari doesn't touch any painting supplies or goes to his studio bc he is afraid of losing Kurosu, but the latter reassures him that he is not leaving. This gives Yukari a reason to keep drawing and painting. He's able to love a person and love painting, without having to choose between the two.
Anyway, sorry for my spiel.
