No, I mean mostly with the king of pains past love . I guess I want to know because I don't enjoy too much angst and if he's still in love with him, I hate unrequited love stories ( meaning the current groom in love with the god of pain alone for quite a while in the story)

The past lover is actually linked with the main story and a plot twist so I don't want to spoil your fun LOL
The plot is actually pretty good along with the art, so I don't think spoil the whole plot can convey it

Kaveri is stuck in the netherworld and can't/doesn't move on to a new life (i belive he could but he waits for kahol to move on first)

the marriage is a curse put on River's familly but khaol usually let's his wifes be stolen (you'll know more soon*)

the reason for the curse
Ilya (1st ancestor) accidentally revealed khaol & kaveri's relation to the lord, the lord decided to torture & kill khaol entourage (familly, friends, lover, servants, subordinates etc) exept ilya, just because he liked his face.
khaol hates river's face because of that but he still ends up liking him (but it's not love with a big L)
now for the spoilers of death (reader discretion advised you might not want to read & spoil yourself this much)
but first this is only in the novel so far, the novel is on pause and the webtoon might differ

River ends up learning all the story and ends up hating every one (khaol for the curse, heil for never telling him everything, ilya for selling his descendants and himself for being weak).

river's life force is being sucked by khaol, and khaol tells him there's a way to prevent that ( is it real tho),
the only option that seems possible is if he becomes a goblin ( but it would suck for multiple reasons.
big drama happens, river dies, becomes a god, rejects heil friendship, and leaves khaol with his depression, and without life force to "energize" him
*about the "wifes" most of them dont reincarnate (by choice) exept one...
