I felt the narrative was solely centered around Jiwon. Jiwon acts like a prick, and criminal, because of his "issues", Jiwon uses manic pixie dream uke DG, to heal from his "issues", Jiwon decides he loves DG, and that's it, DG just accepts, despite being treated like shit for most of the plot.
I feel it would have been better, if DG was faced with the reality that his idol is a horrible person to him, he moves on and finds someone new. "A baker on the first floor" managed to show such development, rather than making the MC stick with a bad relationship for the webtoons entirety.
this is far from my favourite manhua i admit but the emotional scenes and their relationship developments were so beautiful and touching and ive been thinking about "your very existence comforts me" and "i can no longer imagine a life without you" and "i feel like i can love myself now" for 4 days nonstop
