Omegaverse the genre is built off wolf dynamics, which is why there are terms such as alpha, beta, and omega - terms used to describe roles in a wolf pack. Manga/manhwa/manhua have is sparingly, but if you read more in the Western fandom, there’s a LOT of knotting in ABO (<< the more universal term on AO3).
