Guess I'm the only one a little weirded out by the VP. I mean he seems a nice enough guy and I'm hoping we don't get another creepy old man trope, but at the same time I really don't think Eunwoo is who he needs. It feels too fatherly on Eunwoo's part.

Honestly I like the two mains together. I know their relationship isn't healthy currently, but Taeho isn't an asshole. I think he cares really deeply for Eunwoo. If he didn't he wouldn't care as much if he were to die. I think a lot of his dating around and the things he says is rooted in him trying to stop himself from falling for Eunwoo by re-directing his feelings at other things. That's why he's so focused on breaking the curse.

Taeho says he "can't" love Eunwoo and that's true. If he does he puts Eunwoo's life at risk because he knows Eunwoo likes him. It's a really dangerous and kinda stupid game he's playing but I think it makes sense given the context of the story. Can't say I wouldn't try the same thing in his shoes tbh.

Unpopular opinion I guess. Really liking the story so far though. (=・ω・=)

I agree with you. Honestly I can't tell if Taeho is a making himself unlikable on purpose bc he knows Eunwoo likes him, or if it's a defense to keep himself from falling in love, or if he's just a fuckboi. The bottom line is that he wants to keep Eunwoo alive for a deeper reason than just that their fates are tied.

My theory is that it's a subconscious defense mechanism on his part. In the end, they are playing a game where one or the other is eventually going to die unless the curse is lifted.
