Yeah I don't understand it too, I mean he is like the supervisor for the porn, he just sits there and watches it, editing it afterwards and telling them what went well and what not, and recruiting other members. He doesn't have to have sex unless he wants to but he has Ed now so I don't understand why he must continue.

This is just my personal opinion, but I think it really varies. I think that the most important thing is that both persons have the same expectations. They both communicate clearly what they need or want from the other person. You’re absolutely right that people can still do porn and be in love, as long as they talk it out with their partner and their partner wholeheartedly accepts their profession.

I don’t believe in a love that’s clinical where everything is black and white, but I also don’t believe that there always has to be sacrifice in a relationship. Maybe it is enough to be mature, respectful, and also compassionate to your partner as everyone is different, and maybe compromise with them when it really means a lot to the other party.

In the case of this manga, I don’t know any more than you do, but it seems that Ed has not come to the point where he has decided he cannot accept Glenn’s porn job at all. I think if it ever comes to the moment where he communicates to Glenn that he can’t accept it and Glenn ignores this and continues—that’s when the relationship becomes sour. I think for now, it’s okay though, and I have faith in them both as mature, rational people.

It’s about trust. McQueen’s feelings are only for Ed. Work is work. Peoples argument to this is “well he’s not gonna resign, he could just stay as a director”. However, keep in mind he’s an incredibly well-known porn director and actor in that industry so resigning because he has a ‘lover’ would probably upset a lot of fans and would likely drop their sales.

I just figured it’s the same concept as fanatics who flame/get angry over their pop idol for dating someone. Judging from how fancy their porn site is, I take it their subscribed followers pay a lot of money so they’d probably be overprotective? about their wank fantasy actors. That site has been running for several years.

You feel upset because you tie sex with affection and think it should only be done with a significant other. McQueen doesn’t think like that and Ed understands this. It was mature of them to talk about it. Don’t force yourself to continue if you’re feeling uncomfortable. You don’t have to force yourself to understand them. Their pov / I deals are simply different from yours and that’s ok.

As the others have said, as long as there is consent and communication in the relationship I’m okay with it. No one should be hiding anything. I have the same opinion when it comes to poly relationships. Though I wouldn’t be a fan of doing that myself, just because I wouldn’t do something doesn’t mean I’ll have a negative opinion of another couples preference, though that’s just me. Of course if you’re not ok with it that’s perfectly fine, it’s impossible to like every single thing in the world. No need to force yourself.

Cause it's his job and expertise for his living. And Ed knew he's doing porn from the first day. There are people who do value their achievement/career than love.

It's not his prime job, that is running the company and being behind the scenes with the film making. He is basically the boss, and he's choosing to do the dirty work which must create an odd dynamic on set. He's doing it because he can, an ego-trip, seeing as any film he is in, he is the starring role. Like it or not, he is choosing to sleep with other people, whilst in a relationship. Because it isn't really his proper job, and he doesn't have to film like actors like Ryan, it comes off suspect.

Yep, and that's what pisses me off and feel like Chang is better but I remember that Chang is gonna rape Ed so hell nah to both of them, Ed should just go on a trip to Tokyo and find him a nice seme..
