I mean Roel's soul was swapped with a weak girl, Sila, and Roel was often mistaken as a male because of her physique and looks. I'm assuming not a lot of people knew her real gender from her time as Roel because she was even addressed as 'Sir Roel'. I believe Julius may have reacted like that because he was either too shocked or felt 'betrayed'. There's another possibility but I can't say for sure that Julius reacted like that because he also believed Roel was a man.

That was one of the possibilities that came to my head, but the more I thought of it the more I thought that maybe it had to do with the contact he had in the past with the demons. But, men, it's funny to think that one instead.

According to the spoilers I had read, he thought Roel was a guy. In this universe, I'm guessing, they don't approve of gay marriages, so he thought he couldn't marry her, a "guy". They'll eventually get this misunderstanding and be our lovey-dovey couple once more. (▰˘◡˘▰)

She doesn't go back to her original body. She stays in her current one. Also, I honestly can't even imagine her returning the original body because "she" died and should is buried right now. If she returns I think the genre of the book should be horror.
