can't say I felt the same, I didn't feel bad about the dad at all. yeas the "poor thing" got hurt, but he did hurt many people in his life too. he should have stopped that destructive relationship. you can say it's not fair or that he didn't know, but you can actually know when you are in destructive relationship, there are signs to it.
and he didn't actually left his wife for him, he left cause he could not handle it and choose to run away, cause it's easier instead of telling her the truth.
I also felt sad for the dad. Somehow I also feel kind of angry with Taejun for what he did. I don´t know how to explain it, it´s complicated...

A guy is sitting in a bar going on and on about his bestfriend for so long in a single conversation then he briefly almost not even related mentions his cats name in the midst of all that, then goes back to talking about his bestfreind. Then after the convo a person goes up to him and shows an interest or dislike towards what he was saying about his wn bestfreind, but then the guy gets mad and says his whole conversation was about his cat and how he is injured and blah blah blah and wasn't about his bestfriend. yeas cause I'm lazy to repat myself. I talk about how the dad KNOW it was a destructive relationship. HE KNOW IT!! and he was HIS TEACHER! and yeas he had much more POWER over the relationship to decide to cut it or come back to it and lie to his wife.

My heart hurts for the dad. He did not deserve to be alone in the end, especially with everyone getting a happy ending. It wasn't even entirely his fault that Taejun died, the circumstances were at fault, not him. Its not like he didn't try hard or didn't love Taejun, this guy left his wife and his kid for him. Not saying he's innocent, but he shouldn't be solely held responsible for Taejun's death. That ending with him sitting all alone and Taejun's spirit hugging him just broke my heart.
