This was the weirdest mixture of 3 different genres. Shoujo when the MC was portrayed as a guy with Shin Miraie, or when the MC was portrayed as a girl with best friend, Shounen Ai when the MC was portrayed as a guy with the best friend, Yuri when the MC was portrayed as a girl with Shin Miraie.
Lol, this was so confusing, kinda entertaining, but I wish the author would decide on one pairing for the MC and go with that. There was no need for best friend's crush because he never even got to admit it. It literally just made me feel bad for him and it really didn't add anything to the story other than the Shounen Ai bait.
I don't mind the MC going with Shin Miraie btw, be it as a guy or as a girl. And towards the end she did look to become a better person. I do ship them. I just wish the author would spend more time developing their romance rather than confusing readers with the best feiend as potential love interest.
