i thought that was a metaphor for how the author was teasing us from the juicy parts of the plot but then when I read the chapter they were literally peeling the skin off of the chicken....

i understand fish, pork and chicken skin but FRIED chicken skin? idk i like that it’s crunchy and savory but we all have different tastes
