The ex tried to come out to his mom and she had a stroke and guilt-tripped him into becoming "normal" for her sake? Is that what's implied there? Stop trying to make me care about the bad guys!

But...OMG how cute is our main couple? So nice to see them being lovey-dovey beyond the get-together.

Period! It's not even any of her business on whether he is "normal" or not. She failed at being a parent when she stomped on her sons feelings like that

You should read "Smells like green spirit" where the mc's friend is ridiculed and not accepted by his own mother after he comes out. His ending is so incredibly sad and cruel that I couldn't help but cry. To live the life his mother wanted, he kills himself inside. What kind of mother does that to their own kid? I wish no mothers in real life will have the heart to do that.

Unfortunately irl there are too many mothers who care more about their image than the happiness of their children.

Ikr? I've witnessed it first-hand and some of my close friends were disowned/chose to sacrifice their freedom. (༎ ෴ ༎)༼;´༎ ༎༽
