The anime from what I’ve seen only has 12 episodes, but there is a reference to the manga in episode three I think.
You can find it in the ayakashi series in episodes 9 to 11. Just search it on YouTube: Ayakashi samurai horror tales: bakeneko (part 1 to 3)
I remember watched this on Animax over 10years ago
And I found it on youtube and watched again.
But somehow I realized ”hey, I think the story had been cut off because the 1st episode is not about a pregnant woman being chased by assassins” but I forgot the whole story
Afterward, I knew this got manga series, and in chapter 1 make me remember ”this is it! This is the episode that I watched back then!"
I search for any other anime platform, but they only have 12 eps without the story in chapter 1....
