So for the people calling the storyline stale and repetitive, sure, you’re not wrong on the repetitive part, but really to expect a full 180 flip from either Souichi or Morinaga at this point is just not going to happen and if it did it would kill the whole story. If Souichi out of the blue became fully submissive and compliant to Morinaga, bounding our of a flurry of pink rose petals, proclaiming his undying love and begging to be taken, Souichi would literally lose all of his appeal. Sure Souichi is a stubborn, prideful little shit, but it’s because of that that his character is so infuriatingly fun to follow. And for Morinaga to suddenly give Souichi the cold shoulder and dump him like he never meant anything to him just goes against everything Morinaga’s character is.

I think the role reversal between Morinaga and Souichi is really entertaining in a way. Morinaga, the puppy-like seme who’s overly emotional and honestly pretty pathetic at times, and Souichi, the tyrannical uke who’s closed off and violent. Is their relationship healthy? All kinds of no. But is this fiction where all kinds of toxic and obsessive behavior is romanticized, all kinds of yes. In real life Morinaga would be in JAIL, Souichi would be in his lab diligently working on whatever the hell his research is and silently hating the gays until he probably dies alone.

Knowing Senpai's pride I think he wouldn't report this to police. Actually not many raped men would do it anyway.
