I really don't understand why everyone's hating the seme right now. Yes his intentions in the beginning weren't pure, the seme has also been through some shit. They've BOTH been through serious emotional pain that made them want to die. They have matching scars on their wrists, even.
Yeah he screwed up, but he's not malicious. If anything he's clumsy and a little misguided. I think his intentions are actually good even if his methods aren't the best.
