I think that he is endearing ! By the way I think No "I am sure " that the author will develop his character and he will not stay a sicko jerk throughout the webtoon/ story . He will understand that his behavior is bad and change for the sake and the love of the Main Character.
Comparing to the other male lead , we can see that the author spend more time on him. That fact causes a feeling among readers who may even come to appreciate the dark skinned guy .

No character development can change what he did
That still doesn't change what he already has done, and could do again. I don't like the idea of keeping forgiving toxic exes and coming back to them only to get hurt again even if they do get "better." It's a bad message if they end up together.
Who said anything about getting back with the main lead? Let's wait for the future episodes, shall we?
