The thing that troubles me with this series is that even if they can sort of already see that Ranma and Akane like each other, even if they can tell that there's barely any hope for them, they still insist on giving all of their efforts and lives on liking the same person anyway, even if it means getting in the way and the like. I get determination, and empowerment, and the idea that they do their best to claim that person's heart despite all odds because to them that person is irreplacable and they can't stand a future without them, but they really should know when to give up, and when they can see that there's no chance for them, at the very least, accept and respect the feelings of the person they love. (I'm mostly looking at Shampoo...)
