It’s the first chapters tho.. the reason we’re addicted to falling in love with characters is because it’s rare, as it is when we chose to pick flowers amongst the common blossoms, knowing well enough that they can be just as pleasing. by that same definition, should you discard a mild story though it shows originality and potential?
Like i wrote those were the first chapters and if the writer is really good then he may make the characters really great later on but in the beginning theyre not interesting at all. Youre telling 'we chose to pick flowers amongst the common blossoms' but they arent like blossoms to me just some leaves.
I may give it a chance but the start wasnt good at all to me. And we fall in love with characters that are rare but the characters could be rare and not boring. Even if the story is original and has potential if its badly executed making it boring and not making me able to be into it its all useless in the end.
You guys can dislike all you want but i think that none of the characters are actually likable. Like i felt nothing for the main guy when it came to his sad backstory and the girl is a bit weird but nothing special too. It wouldve been better if it was presented in another way cuz if the character isnt likable in the first chapters hes not gonna be likable later
