You said their way of thinking was ugly, but you immediately just denied the full the truth about it. Even this manga we're commenting on has some of the things they mentioned, not only did you miss the fact that they said assumptions but you're trying to prove a wrong point
It's not like I'm trying to start an argument but if you read over this manga you'll see some of the things mentioned in the above.
Besides, believe me, I'd be just like you if someone insulted yaoi in an ugly way, but this fact here is true
As much as I don't like seeing people reading bl manga just to comment that it's "disgusting", again I say, this is true

If I look with the eyes of a hawk, searching for prey, I'll find all kinds of cultural flaws being used by authors to create fiction. Authors exploit anything they need to express their creativity. They draw anything, write anything. That's freedom, but there are those who want, even demand, that authors start setting a good example for society. They have no right to make those demands.

Ooooooookaaaaay I think this has gone far enough. I would like to take a moment to state the following:
- The comment had nothing to do with how I or others should view Japanese culture.
- The comment was based purely on Japanese yaoi manga that I, personally, have read.
- I am not saying everyone has the same experience or gets the same things I do out of reading them. This comment was based on my personal experience with Japanese yaoi.
- I am aware that other countries other than Japan can produce yaoi but this comment was specifically directed at Japanese yaoi.
- The comment was entirely sarcastic and short of outright stating "this comment is sarcastic", I'm not sure how much clearer I could have been.
- You seem to be the only one who has taken this comment seriously and become personally offended, so no one is trying to bully other commenters into thinking anything.
In any case, I hope that you realize the comment was satirical. I'm not attacking Japanese culture or even yaoi. I enjoy both. I hope this will lay to rest this argument.
It's been three months.
Please stop attacking people in comment sections.
Thank you. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

I mean, I'm only responding to this comment because it offended me but the person below said enough.
I haven't said anything to bully or hurt you in any way. I said what I said and I meant it.
Everyone has different opinions and those 16 likes are proof they agree.
Like, three months fr, wasn't necessary.

ah hahaha you disclaim disclaim disclaim. What a load. You were serious. You even used "bad" in your opener. Stop ganging up on one commenter. I don't like people who try to order me around like no thanks, mom, go to h. It certainly was a reprimanding bunch of bs the way you disapprove of the way we view manga. I didn't like what you said. That's the my opinion. I still don't like it. I'm still entitled to my own opinion no matter how much you and your buddy there keep trying to shut me up with stupid "majority rules" idiotic logic.

They were speaking for themselves. They are every right not to engage with you. You don’t get to force someone to have a discussion with you. No one is trying to censor or bully you, you paranoid weirdo. It’s just exhausting to deal with someone who is a freaking bulldozer. No one wants to have a conversation with someone who has no respect for others. If you don’t make an effort to understand others and where they are coming from, if you can’t empathize or find humor in anything, you are just going to be a buzzkill that no one wants to deal with. I’m not going to waste anymore energy on this, so that’s all I’m going to say.

and I'm speaking for myself. No one here has the power to force anyone to do anything. They absolutely have the right not to engage with me, so why are they? why are you? If they did want to bully me, I'm not a child so bullying won't work on me. If it's so exhausting, why are you dealing with me? Go find someone you like better, or might it be true that you enjoy going around reprimanding people without posting any real content yourself?. I happen to like disrespectful people and anyone who is willing to go up against the WALL of polite smiles of those who believe everyone has to be nice to everyone else at all times. That only leads to a lot of lies and people having to pretty things up to the point of utter obscurity. The OP was serious. It was obvious. They revised later to lessen the heat. sort of dishonest if you ask me.
Bad Japanese Culture Assumptions Based on Yaoi:
- All men are either gay or can be turned gay
- If you get on a train in Japan you WILL be molested
- Getting with your rapist is a totally sane, natural occurrence
- 12 y/o kids are apparently capable of sex appeal in Japan
- Newlywed ukes dress exclusively in aprons and nothing else
- Japanese men are apparently capable is self-lubrication according to some mangaka
- Public sex is not obvious in Japan
- Mixers are where men go to sit next to and molest smaller men
- There are absolutely not logistics to having gay sex outside of a shower and MAYBE some lube (if you aren't self lubricating) if you are a man in Japan.
- Foreigners are ALWAYS touchy feely have NEVER have any concept of person space.
Did I miss anything?
