simply because he likes Ebilina? he hasn't done anything suspicious. Also, what he's expressing might just be excitement from meeting someone new. I get those feelings sometimes when I meet someone new. He might be a rival or he might be a person that gives the Duke some "growth". Like in the recent chapters, the duke is planning to "fire" Lorenzo just because he doesn't like Lorenzo. Then Ebilina scolds him for it. Or Lorenzo's purpose is both, who knows? but Lorenzo is acting nice right now. I welcome him and I hope the author gives us a few side chapters of him. I really want happiness for all 3.
