Well "I" on the keyboard usually opens the inventory, but the icon "I", at least in the Western world, has always meant "info". That's why it doesn't appear in games. Where have you seen it?

Yeah I always remember it meaning info but thats like on computer games and old play station 1 games from back in the day, but honestly idk

Hm, idk I dont think it's that deep. You have so many office related mangas and most artists have never worked those jobs, have probably made mistakes about it but we don't notice it since we dont know much about it. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

Basically they let the non-gamer blonde mc try the game and then when he asks what the "I" means and whether it means information, they became mad at him and said the inventory icon is always like that in games. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
