I am confused with the timeline. Hinata's time limit in Rio is 2 years, does that means he already finished his training? And also yachi said that hinata went to Brazil "last year". Also, about the year, it was never mentioned before, but suddenly, now is 2017.
Calm down everyone. 2 years of high school + 1 year on "pause" + 2 year limit in Rio is precisely 5 years. Which means that Hinata's returning to Japan sometime soon. And he'll have crazy stong legs from all that time spent running around on sand, so you have that to look forward too. This 5 year gap is just a training montage from what I gather.
