First of all…these comments are kinda supposed to be about the manga at hand, which is purely a shoujo manga. If you want to leave highly uniformed comments about a group of people that have nothing to do with this manga…well, find the appropriate place.
Second of all, if you're going to make a sweeping declaratory stereotype about a whole group, at least put one that proves to be somewhat true…
Third, it was very offensive. Just because you said, "sorry, I hope I didn't offend anyone" doesn't really give you a free pass to say whatever you want. It's like me saying, "Sorry, I hope my fist didn't hurt your face" It's kind of obvious you meant some offense to it otherwise you wouldn't have said "I hope I didn't offend anyone."
Fourth, and most importantly, BL/Shounen-ai/Yaoi manga is awesome.
Well... I don't see how homosexual people are different from us, they are exactly the same. There is no such thing as "normal", we are all different anyway.
And concerning the drug addict thing, I can assure you there is as much heterosexual drug addicts than homosexual drug addicts, it's just a matter of statistics so don't assume things on your own.
I'm heterosexual but every time I read a discriminating comment like that, I feel as if I've been insulted myself (since I feel homosexual are no different from us)
Please keep in mind that you can hurt a lot of people by saying that, so please be more careful of what you say
