Yeah~ I'm gonna just say what a lot of people already said but I still don't get why Sunhwa had to die. Of course, it's author's choice to make and they can kill as many characters as they want to (it's their own work after all), but it just feels like her character could contribute way more to this story than her death. Not to mention that introducing a new character (who had so much potential that is probably never going to be explored) only for making their death impactful for the main protagonist to make her grow (again...) is a shitty move to make
Honestly, it just seems to me the author is milking the same storyline again with the focus being about Sumin and her tragic past, showing yet another mistake she needs to correct in order to find peace and move on. It definitely worked when this series debuted and garner a lot of interest but I'm afraid it won't quite have the same weight as it did before. I get the impression a lot of folks aren't all that interested in seeing another redemption plot for Sumin. Guess we wanted something a little different than that?
Anyways, it is the author's work at the end of the day and how she wants to tell the story. So there's that.
Yeah I agree on what you said. I too feel it's wasted for such a potential character whom has much to be explored and may bring different plot for this Will. Guess we just have to accept and respect TG's decision anyway. :/ hopefully something nice comes next.
I personally thinks Sumin is TG's fav character in a way and yes! it kinda sounds like the similar storyline from the main story and yes again we want to see something different though (The beginning of Will chapter is quite refreshing to me somehow) Maybe they can focus more on Sungji? She's more like a angelic / supportive character for Sumin now, nothing much we know about her though. Yeah,it's TG's creation and we just have to respect that.

I was literally screamed "Sung Sumin!!" & rolled my eyes so hard while reading this chapter. Sumin-ah, what you had done to Sunhwa was just.. not right. I don't understand why Sunhwa must die and I feel bad for her. She indeed deserves better.
I don't know what to expect on the next chap in Will. It was actually started with a bright/lively/ sweet plot and now ermmm.. hopefully something good happen next? Hope to see more of Sungji side of story though.
