though if you’re wondering about the development of their relationship, it’s hard to notice since we were constantly bombarded with info on the kin management main plot but it was gradual and subtle. you could see how ellian slowly fell for him by the way he handled gunchan. I recommend rereading their subplot since having to rely on memory each week ruins the flow and scenes tend to be forgotten when it’s been so long.
For some reason I couldn’t get behind that daddy x stoic uke couple even tho it’s precisely one of my fav types of couples. Like I love me so emotionless uke and powerful would-do-anything-for-his-wifey daddy seme. However, I rlly couldn’t get myself to really like the very couple that has my fave type of characters. I finally figured out that the reason I didn’t like them was because it seemed so forced and distant?? If that makes sense. Plz tell me there are others who are in the same position. I feel like I couldn’t connect with this side paring (adding in a good and necessary side paring is actually pretty hard in many BLs) and it just seemed so abrupt that now the daddy seme was like “damn I kinda lik-I LOVE YOU SEX SEX SEX”. I didn’t feel it was a good transition on the author’s part. I don’t know how else to say it. If anyone who understand my position could put it in words that would be great.
