It's not confusing at all if u just paid attention,sure the details are left out and it's not an extraordinarily good story or anything,but there's nothing that can't be understood or confusing at all,and most of all, the dialogue is not wierd or the story all over the place like LOTS of the Chinese manhuas I've come across.Also, the king said you won, meaning she won the bet they made so the king forgives her because he loves her and let her go,and then Mamba came for her later, pick her up and then escape together,it's really not hard to understand at all if u just use your common sense.

I wait I might have misunderstood ur explanation wrong but i think you understood it wrong lol.
When they escaped, the purple hair dude and mc went to hide in a mountain. The purple hair dude got shot with an arrow and they look up and they see the king standing on a nearby cliff. The MC tells the purple hair dude that the king had seen them. She sucks out the poison from the arrow and tells him to run. She also later told him that (previously she used to threaten him into helping her saying that she poisoned him and if he leaves and she dies, he cant get the antidote) she actually never poisoned him. The purple hair dude goes and escape.
Then it later on, the king finds her by the cliff. Planning to kill her. He tells her of a bet they had before saying whoever falls in love first wins. The King fell in love first. BUT he says he will not let her go. Although he loves her, he cant let her live because she is a threat to his kingdom. For the sake of his kingdom he will kill her.
Then the MC says she understands and she would do the same thing. She moves onto saying that instead of getting killed by a sword, she wants to die like a bird (previously she made metaphors saying she is a like bird in a cage and only wishes freedom). She proceeds to fall off the cliff. At this moment the king feels regret. He yells after her.
BUTTTTT the purple hair dude swings by as she is falling in this weird green air floating thing. Idk what its called. A parachute? Anyways he catches her and then flies away.
The king is furious that he didnt kill her and she escaped from him TWICE. He longs for her

And then purple hair dude and MC land in the desert. Purple hair dude eventually leaves her and the brown hair dude comes and saves her. They escape to a different city and take the disguise of students in an academy.
Okay, I just read your comment and I thought it was weird so I checked it, and I realised that chapter 44.2 was not there when I read it and it skipped right to chapter 45.1,hence I just assumed that the king forgave her, since it didn't show that part, they must've put up the chapters later on and I didn't realise it
It's not hard to notice numbers if you just pay attention you would know that you skipped chaps and that you are making up things that didn't happen
Lol, we're already over this, anyway if u really do wanna know, it does skipped the chapter at the time it came out, which is also why I specifically wrote down the exact no., otherwise I wouldn't evn point it out and just said that they skipped it, at least if u're gonna argue, know ur facts first, instead of just assuming, looking to hate and embarrassing urself.
