because if one of them die the other become the human so he became the shadow instead!
That's kind of confusing still. So basically the original isn't human anymore either once the shadow exists......ugghh too much for me....

Thank you for replying! I think I'm going to let this one sit for a while until there are quite a few updates. Hopefully reading a bunch or all at once might help it make more sense too.
