All of the contestant were testing for being an employee on seagull. Those who were on the island is a clone made when the real them was doing their health examination.
The clones were feeded memory from their real body and possibly altered memory of why they're doing a quiz and not an employee test.
Seagulls use the clones to determine if one or two of them are suited to be the employees of seagull, and touma did.
The real body did not know about the clones or what happened on the island.
Too bad for touma since his girlfriend is a bish and unable to know her real nature.
Isn't Touma the glasses guy the person I think you are talking about is Shouta
