I think it’s because the ones that are hated so much romanticize rape and violence and try to twist it into a fluffy manga while giving fan service but killing stalking isn’t a love story it’s made to show a bad relationship
lmao where have you been looking? when i used to read KS i could never tell people bc i'd get a lot of shit for reading it, i never said i liked it or anything like that but people would always ask why and say it was gross(which it is). I think Cloudy is on point with it tho, other stories romanticize rape, a choice made by the author, whereas KS was never meant to be a love story but a horror manhwa. It was the fans that started to romanticize it and thirst over sangwoo which is what why people hate it, although i'm not sure how you're under the impression that people don't hate it as much/more than other yaoi stories.
Out of curiosity, so there has been yaoi mangas that involves some disturbing contents, such as violence, rape, cheating and etc.. and they receive a lot of hate because of it but at the same time some of the more popular yaoi like Killing Stalking does not get that much hate even though it also has some disturbing elements. I understand that it’s very popular, interesting, and the story is somewhat thrilling but still why?
