    stop victim blaming yumi

This guy S and his friends previously raped Y, so Y was incredibly stupid to walk into this situation.

I had a friend whose step father was an abusive alcoholic. When he would get drunk and belligerent, my friend would enable his behavior by shouting back at him and getting in his face rather than backing off and leaving the room. This usually ended with him punching her.

His behavior was neither excusable nor justified, but it was predictable.

S and his friends previously raped Y so why would Y walk back into a situation where he would be alone with any of them? Would you meet up with your rapist alone?

It's not about victim blaming. It's about acting with a little common sense and protecting yourself.
Don't walk down sketchy alleys alone.
Don't get so drunk that you can't take responsibility for yourself.
Don't put yourself in a position that will leave you alone with a man you don't trust implicitly.

A rapist is a rapist regardless of how he gets his victim into a vulnerable position. And most of the time there's nothing that could have prevented the assault... But no woman or man should make it easy for him by putting THEMSELVES in the vulnerable position. It's not the victim's vault, but it is a preventable tragedy.

Thank you finally somebody gets what in trying to say it's not like I was blaming him it's just that if you got raped by someone and his friends why would you still meet up with him after the fact by you self in some type of storage place like there are so many signs that something is not right
