Man, I feel for everyone here. Dani has such a realistic existential crisis in regards to this world that I can really feel for her and can understand why she has such a hard time developing her relationships with the people in the "fictional" world. And of course, I feel for the "fictional" people who are struggling to stabilize their relationship with her but don't know what's going on.

It's such an absurd situation that it'd be difficult to explain and expect people to believe her (I mean, imagine someone I consider kind of a friend seriously telling me I'm not real and neither is my entire world. I would think they were crazy or joking before I even entertain the thought that they were telling me the truth).

I want to slap her sometimes though because it doesn't make the world any less real knowing that it's fictional. I think therefore I am right? She should accept that this is what it is and live in that world. If she did though then she might not have the same appeal to the 4 kings.

I also really love that Dan-I is questioning their friendship because he said that what he likes about her is how she doesn't fawn over him like other girls. Its such an overused and problematic trope like, you're only interested in this girl because she isn't interested in you?? If your only criteria for friendship is that you can chill around her because she isn't attracted to you that's a pretty self-centered and self-centric basis for forming a bond with someone. I love that it's being portrayed as a genuine barrier to their platonic relationship (as opposed to just drama to add to a will-they-won't-they-we-know-they-will romance the way it would be in a typical shojou).

The problem is that actually when she was feeling okay with the fact she was in another world , she came back into her own and realize that she didn’t have any real friends or connection and that’s her friends from the novel can disappear at anytime so she kind of distanced herself to avoid being hurt . Sorry if this doesn’t make any sense .
