Well, being the attention seeker that she is, she felt left alone when Haruna was getting all the attention of his dear brother. So she blamed Yoh for not giving her enough attention.
True, she didn't really like that other guy, but by confessing, she believes that Yoh's focus will shift to her, and that other guy's too. She did like Haruna, but only because she was amused with her sincerity and admiration for her and her brother (at the start), but when she felt eclipsed by Haruna, she suddenly felt insecure.

On a sidenote I thought she was becoming a better person for a while but nope in the most recent chapter I read she just used Haruna so she could buy all the stuff she wanted that she wouldn't typically be able to afford

I think it's ok because that's her personality, and in the end both if them were able to benefit from the activity, and Haruna didn't feel taken advantage of. She did put in time for Haruna though. ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
Can someone explain to me the situation with Yoh's sister and the guy the MC was friends with? Sorry I'm so bad with names I barely started reading this.
I'm not really understanding what the girl's intentions were... why did she suddenly confess without actually having feelings for him? Why did she blame Yoh? And why did she become friends with the MC again? I thought the whole point was because she didnt like the MC
I felt like it wasn't explained that well.. I have little to no clue why she did all that??
