There's already a lot less smut in the webtoon when compared to the novel and i'm actually really grateful for that. It does take a way a bit of Countess Falcon's character though, and it's a shame (She appears in ch 9 of the webtoon, ch 4 in the novel)

Also, small details like the fact that Fabian and Jerome are fraternal twins (novel), not identical twins (webtoon)... ah, I was looking forward to seeing them.

I made it 70 chapters in until I realized I was skipping a chapter and a half’s worth of smut every other chapter. The meat of the story/ political intrigue is truly interesting, it is a pity it’s wrapped up in her mystical, addictive virgin ladybits sexually healing the philandering edgelord’s heart of stone.

I’m truly hoping that his respect and need of her in the webtoon stems from her personality/ political skill and not her innate, natural sexual prowess even the most trained of prostitutes would envy. I feel bad that’s a loose quote from the novel but.. there you have it. It’s purple prose porn.

You're right, the novel truly couldn't have said it any better.. and that's the downfall of it.

I also hope for the same and already feel like the webtoon is drawing away from the smutty-ness the novel has by omitting the way countess falcon was introduced!!

Here's to Lucia's beautiful soul and personality ^__^
